Food Bank Yokohama
Food Bank Yokohama is a non profit organization that collects the food that would not be used or would be discarded along the food supply chain. They distribute the food to homeless people and welfare facilities in Yokohama.
Taking care of homeless people is their primary contribution. Food Bank Yokohama works together with a local restaurant and distributes meals to homeless people every month. Their mission is to communicate and interact with homeless people so that helping both their physical health and mental health.
The wealth and education gap has been growing these days. Food Bank Yokohama offers several support programs for kids. They attempts to reduce the gap and provide food and learning opportunity to every child equally.
