Circular Yokohama Participated in the 13th Asia Smart City Conference

On October 23–24, Circular Yokohama participated in the 13th Asia Smart City Conference hosted by Yokohama City. We spoke at the stage session and showcased our initiatives at the event’s exhibition booth.
The Asia Smart City Conference is a global event centered on Asia’s decarbonization efforts, bringing together knowledge, ideas, and solutions for sustainable development. The 13th conference welcomed diverse stakeholders from Asia, including city representatives, international organizations, corporations, and students, to address the challenges and growth opportunities needed to build a sustainable green society.
Circular Yokohama participated in a session on circular economy held on the 24th, joining discussions with StockBase CEO Mr. Seki and European Business Council representative Mr. Stéphane Le Dû. Together, they explored what can be done to promote circular city development from an entrepreneurial perspective.

This year’s conference featured approximately 50 exhibition booths on key themes, including Green Transformation (GX), advanced technologies, urban solutions, and innovation. At the Circular Yokohama booth, we focused on “urban solutions” as our main theme. We presented video highlights from past learning tours for both domestic and international visitors and showcased items from the YOKOHAMA CIRCULAR DESIGN MUSEUM. The booth aimed to create an interactive experience where visitors could “see, touch, listen, and learn.
