Circular Yokohama is an online platform to accelerate the circular economy in Yokohama. We started our business in 2019 and have met many people working towards the same goal in the same region.
To realize a circular economy in the city, however, the key is to create good connections among the local area and work closely in the circle. Although the pandemic had brought us difficulty in achieving it, we finally had an opportunity to try what we wanted to do.
That is the “Yokohama Circular Design Exhibition.”
At the exhibition, you can meet the art, products, and information that embrace the circular economy concept. For the most part, they are Yokohama-made items.
We aim to make this exhibition a hub of Yokohama’s circular economy where people could casually come by and experience the circular economy. Also, we hope to encourage people to make their business circular by providing the place and opportunity to try out what they are passionate about.
As of July 2022, the “Yokohama Circular Design Exhibition” takes place every Thursday from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM in Yokohama City Hall.
We expect to expand our exhibition to other locations and increase the product variety in the future.

What You Can Find at the “Yokohama Circular Design Exhibition”?
As of July 2022, we introduce the circular items down below.
Coco&K. Coco&K. imports lovely, eco-minded, fairtrade bags from the Philippines. The products are up-cycled from discarded aluminum juice packages. It helps the locals live independently and keeps the environment clean.
Craft Beer Paper Craft beer paper is a recycled paper made from malt waste. kitafuku Inc. works with local breweries and restaurants to turn waste into valuable paper products to achieve up-cycling.
Hachi-Iku Hachi-Iku is a project that allows locals to be deeply involved with greenery through sustainable beekeeping. The park is pesticide-free, and multi-floral raw honey is safe for people and the environment.
